Panel “Contentious Politics, Activism and Democratic Innovations in the Western Balkans” organized at the Conference „Conflict. Stability. Democracy?“

Within the Conference „Conflict.Stability. Democracy?“ that is going to be held at the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Belgrade on 28th and 29th September 2019, the JM team will organize a panel Contentious Politics, Activism and Democratic Innovations in the Western Balkans where members of the JM team will present and discussed their findings. Presenters are: Biljana Đorđević (Democratic Innovations Between Agonism and Deliberation), Irena Fiket (Putting the Context Back in the Game: Challenges of Implementation of Democratic Ideals in Deliberative Mini Publics), Gazela Pudar Draško  (Democratic Innovations Between Top-Bottom to Bottom-Up Inclusion of Citizens), Jelena Vasiljević (Affective Engagement and Social Change: Are Personal Narratives Important for Democratic Innovations?).
