Vujo Ilić obtained his PhD in comparative politics at the Central European University in Budapest. His main areas of interest include political conflicts and violence, democratic institutions and elections, as well as research methodology. At the University of Belgrade Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory he currently researches trust in governance, within the EnTrust – Enlightened Trust in Governance project, and is a team member at the tenth round of the European Social Survey, while more recently his focus is also on participatory democratic practices. At the citizen association Crta he is developing election observation and survey methodology, and conducts its annual Citizen Engagement survey.
