Ivana Janković is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade. She is teaching Contemporary Theories of democracy, Contemporary Theories of Justice, and Philosophy of Culture. She got her Ph.D. at the Faculty of Philosophy, Department for Philosophy, where she defended the thesis on the epistemic value of democratic decision-making. Her latest research includes deliberative philosophy, social epistemology, cognitive psychology, and epistemic democracy. She is especially interested in the epistemic benefits of collective decision-making under conditions of uncertainty and complexity and the role of experts in democratic decision making.
